Thompson Jewelers has been family owned and operated since 1948. We first opened our doors in downtown Orlando, and we have been helping Central Florida meet their jewelry needs ever since.

Absolutely not! We know how frustrating it can be to be hassled by a relentless salesperson. At Thompson Jewelers, we look to provide a pleasant and comfortable shopping experience. Unlike other jewelry stores, we help our customers find what they want, not what we want to sell them. Our sales associates will not pressure you to purchase or try to sell you items far outside your budget. We want you to feel at home, and we will treat you like family.

Jewelry Repair

We repair gold and silver jewelry of all shapes and sizes. Our most common repairs include: Ring sizing, soldering broken chains, and replacing missing stones. For specific jewelry repair questions, please contact one of our in-store locations for more information.

The average time from drop-off to pick-up is a week to 10 days. However, each repair job is different, and some repairs may require more time than others.

Jewelry Buying

We will buy any gold jewelry that you have, in any karat, from 10k through 24k. We purchase necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings in any condition. We also buy platinum and silver jewelry, as well as diamonds larger than 1/2ct. Additionally, we purchase sterling flatware and hollowware. The hollowware must be stamped "925" or "Sterling" for us to accept it. Come in today and see what you can get for your old jewelry and possessions.

In-Store Shopping & Online Orders

A semi-mount is an engagement ring setting, which includes every diamond in the ring except for the center stone. You can select the center stone of your choice based on your preference and budget.

Yes, we can custom make your dream jewelry with our state-of-the-art 3D CAD design program. We have designed hundreds of beautiful and unique pieces for our customers. Please visit us in-store to begin your custom jewelry journey. We are excited to help you create the jewelry of your dreams!

Yes, we do! We have multiple payment plans available to help you purchase the jewelry of your dreams! Everything from layaway to interest-free financing. Check out our financing page for more information.

Shipping & Returns

We offer free shipping on all orders. We send all orders over $1,000 UPS 2nd day air. For orders under $1,000, we ship USPS.
We are typically able to fulfill orders to ship within 1-4 weeks or less.

Refund

At Thompson Jewelers, we want to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. We offer to fully exchange your purchase (of equal or greater value) within 30 days, providing the merchandise has not been worn or altered.

We offer a full refund to your original form of payment if you decide to return your product within ten days of purchase (providing merchandise has not been worn or altered). Thompson Jewelers will not refund any products that are custom-made, specially ordered, altered, or custom engraved. We will not refund any purchase ordered outside of stock size and gold color.

All special orders are non-refundable. Semi-mount rings that we have set with a loose stone are also non-refundable.
